Vanilla Syrup



  • 15 oz. (by wt.) Granulated Sugar
  • 15 oz. Water
  • 2 Vanilla Beans – split

  • In a medium sauce pot, bring all ingredients to a simmer over medium heat. Stir to dissolve the sugar and express the tiny vanilla seeds from the pods. Remove from the heat, let cool, and pour into a clean bottle. Refrigerate for up to 8 weeks. Shake before using. Yield: ~3 cups.
