Pumpkin Pie Martini2015-11-26
- 1 oz Vodka
- 3 Tbsp Pumpkin Puree*
- 1 tsp Pumpkin Pie Spice
- 1 oz White Crème de Cacao
- ½ oz Kahlua
- 2 oz Heavy Cream
- *See our Pumpkin Purée recipe/video or use canned purée.
- Add the cream to a Cocktail Shaker and shake vigorously (without ice) for 30-45 seconds, to stiffen the cream. Add the remaining ingredients, with ice, and shake for 20 seconds. Strain into a Martini Glass and top with whipped cream and orange sugar sprinkles or shortbread cookie crumbs.
Pumpkin pie means family dinners and family dinners require alcohol – at least in our families… What better way to celebrate Halloween or Thanksgiving than enjoying a pumpkin pie in a glass. Rich, spicy, and creamy. Wonderful. We use heavy cream and pre-shake it a bit in order to stiffen it up so as to suspend the spices in the drink. Use canned pumpkin puree or make your own. Enjoy it all: Family, Fall, and Alcohol. Cheers!
