2015-04-27Ingredients
- 1 oz. Malört (or Bësk)
- ½ oz. Grenadine
- 2 oz. sweetened Condensed Milk

- Add all ingredients to a blender. Blend until smooth and pour into a coupe glass. Garnish with an edible flower.
Your typical sweet, rich, Brazilian Batida features Cachaça, fruit, sweetened condensed milk, and ice. Here, we swap out the sweet fruit for one strikingly bitter liqueur: Malört (or Bësk). Bësk is a Swedish style spiced liqueur flavored with wormwood (malört, in Swedish). We add a tart grenadine (like Employee’s Only), and the sweetened condensed milk to create an intriguingly bitter, tart, and sweet, concoction with citrus rind notes that will cause your tongue to gyrate as it tries to escape your mouth and the cocktail you’re pouring into it. If you like this creation, then we like you! Be certain to check out all of the classic and original Batida cocktails we’ve made. Cheers!
