Lilac Gimlet

Ingredients
- 1½ oz. Gin
- ¾ oz. Fresh Lime Juice
- 1 oz. Lilac Syrup*
- ¼ oz. Cocchi Americano (or similar)
- Add all ingredients, with ice, to a Cocktail Shaker. Shake vigorously and strain into a coupe glass.
- Garnish with Lilac Petals.

This is a perfect cocktail! Sweet, complex, delicious, and beautiful. The botanicals from the gin meld perfectly with the flowery sweetness of the lilac syrup which itself is tempered with a hint of a bitterness from the aperitif. A bitter bite is needed to rein-in the sweet flowery perfuminess of the lilac syrup. This is a great cocktail to be enjoyed in early summer in the garden under the sun and amongst the birds and the bees. It has a beautiful sea-water blue green color that you’ll enjoy just as much as its incredible flavorful. Truly one of our favorites.
