Lemon Head Martini



  • 1½ oz Hopquila
  • 1 oz Fresh Lemon Juice
  • 1¼ oz Rock Candy (or Rich Simple) Syrup

  • Shake the hopquila, lemon juice, and rock candy (or rich simple) syrup with ice in a Cocktail Shaker. Strain into a Champagne Flute.

  • Garnish with Lemon Head candies and Lemon Foam.*

This cocktail is inspired by Phil’s favorite childhood candy. Lemon Heads have an interestingly tart and sweet citrusy-lemon flavor. Hopquila is an complex spirit framed with citrus-laden hoppy character. The aroma and flavor of the herbaceous perennial humulus lupulus, aka hops, is brought out by steeping it in twice-distilled barley to create a vivacious spirit that provides the perfect complex, mildly bitter, citrusy backbone for this cocktail. Add some fresh lemon juice and a bit of sweetness and you have a fun, flavor-packed adult version of that great children’s candy.
