Honey Syrup

  • ½ cup Honey
  • ½ cup Water

  • Add the honey and water to a small sauce pan over low heat. Stir until the honey is dissolved into the water. Let cool and pour into a clean stopper bottle. Store in the refrigerator for up to 3 months. (Alternately, add hot tap water to the honey in a glass bowl or beaker. Stir to dissolve and store as described above.)

Honey syrup is probably the easiest thing we make, and it is a key ingredient in cocktails like the Bee’s Knees. You can also try it in your Margaritas in place of the agave nectar or swap it with the simple syrup in other cocktails to give a deeper, richer, earthier sweetness. Cheers!
