Golden Spike

Our homage to the rusty nail, this cocktail takes its name from the spike which ceremoniously connected the East and West legs of the first transcontinental railroad. Where the rusty nail is made with Scotch whisky and drambuie, we swap out the Scotch for bourbon, and to give it the golden color we substitute yellow chartreuse in place of the drambuie. This delightful sipper is a sophisticated and perfumy concoction. For still more sophistication along with a bit of snootiness, be certain to check out our Millionaire’s Golden Spike. Cheers!
