Golden Cadillac (shaken)



  • 1½ oz Galliano
  • 1½ oz White Crème de Cacao
  • 2½ oz Heavy Cream

  • Vigorously shake all ingredients, with ice, in a Cocktail Shaker. Strain into a White Wine Glass or Narrow Tumbler drizzled with Chocolate Syrup.

  • Garnish with Whipped Cream and Chocolate Shavings.

The Golden Cadillac was invented in El Dorado, CA at Poor Red’s BBQ Shack during the heyday of ice-cream cocktails – the 1960’s. They claim to go through more Galliano than anywhere else on the planet, and we believe them! Galliano – an Italian liqueur from the 1890’s, named after an Italian war hero – is sweet and herbal with notes anise and citrus. After distillation it is combined with pressed vanilla beans, giving it the character which mates perfectly with cream and ice-cream. This shaken version of that classic cocktail is perfect if you don’t feel like messing with your blender.
