This fantastic cocktail was created by Dick Bradsell and named after the tangly, prickly shrubs which provide us blackberries and raspberries. This quintessential summertime drink is one we go to time-after-time. Great for a picnic or garden party, it has a nice citric tartness, which melds well with the fruity sweetness, and complexity from the gin’s botanicals. Any London dry gin will work for this cocktail (Dick originally used Bombay Sapphire), but we prefer Ransom’s Small’s gin as its peppery notes carom nicely off the brambly fruit liqueur. Cheers!
