Corsican Tart
2014-01-26Ingredients
- 2 oz Gin
- ¾ oz Sweet Vermouth
- ½ oz Fernet Branca
- ¾ oz Lemon Juice
- ¾ oz Simple Syrup
- Add all ingredients, with ice, to a mixing glass and stir to chill. Strain into a Coupe Glass.
- Garnish with a Lemon Twist.
This fantastic gin-based cocktail is a sweet, spicy, and bitter concoction that we’ve enjoyed many times at Prodigal, here in Milwaukee. We found ourselves craving it so much that we had to reverse-engineer it so we could make it ourselves and share it with you! Featuring the 1840’s-era bitter herbal Italian cure-all: Fernet Branca (which contains a secret combination of herbs, saffron, and dried mushrooms) this delicious, interestingly bitter, and tart cocktail will get you hooked too!
