Conquistador

Ingredients
- 2 oz. Mezcal
- 1 oz. Blood Orange Bracer*
- ¼ oz. Cointreau
- ¼ oz. Kümmel Liqueur
- Add all ingredients, with ice, to a mixing glass. Stir to chill and strain into a coupe glass. Garnish with a blood orange wheel or an orange skin curly-cue.

Our Conquistador is similar to a Margarita, but we’re swapping out the lime juice for Blood Orange Bracer. The Bracer’s rindy citrus tartness and nutty notes compliment the smoky mezcal and marry well with the cumin-heavy Kümmel liqueur and bright notes of the Cointreau. We developed this cocktail for Top Note Tonic and Alcoholmanac magazine’s Apr/May 2015 issue along with some other delightful Blood Orange Bracer cocktails. Cheers!
