Coffee Batida



  • 1½ oz. Espresso or very strong Coffee (at room temperature)
  • 1 oz. Averna Amaro
  • 2 oz. sweetened Condensed milk
  • 4½ oz. ice (that's 4 1”-square cubes)

  • Add all ingredients to a blender. Blend until smooth and pour into an Irish Coffee Mug. Garnish with grated nutmeg.

This is a cocktail in the style of a Batida – the sweet blended Brazilian drink typically made with a Brazilian rum (Cachaça), fruit, sweetened condensed milk, and ice. In the Coffee Batida we have caffeine added to the sweet, sugary concoction, assuring Brazilians have the stamina to samba all night long.
