Black Prince

Ingredients
- 2 oz. Aged Rum
- ¾ oz. Punt e Mes (or other Sweer Vermouth)
- ½ oz. Averna Amaro
- 1 dash Orange Bitters
- Add all ingredients, with ice, to a mixing glass. Stir to chill and strain into a Coupe Glass. Twist an orange peel to express the oil atop the drink, discarding the rind.
Created by Philip Ward (inventor of the Penicillin), the Black Prince is essentially a Rum Manhattan. Use your favorite aged rum for a deep, rich flavor – enhanced by the coffee and cocoa notes from the Averna Amaro. Change up the brand of aged rum or sweet vermouth to get a different flavor every time. Enjoy this fantastic cocktail. Cheers!
