- 2 oz Tequila
- 1½ oz Lime Juice
- ¾ oz Cointreau
- ½ oz Agave Nectar (or ¾ oz if you prefer it sweeter)
- Oversized Glass
- 4 oz Tequila
- 3 oz Lime Juice
- 1½ oz Cointreau

- Add ingredients, with ice, into a cocktail shaker and shake vigorously. Pour or strain into a margarita glass. Garnish with a lime wedge. Optional: rim glass with salt.
Jeff’s favorite summer-time cocktail is the Margarita. He also says that your Margarita has to “sing,” and what makes it sing is orange liqueur. Now we like to use Cointreau, but use your favorite, and get your Margarita singing like a Mariachi band! Most folks will enjoy the standard single-serving recipe, though others – like Jeff – prefer to have an over-sized margarita glass to drink from, especially if sharing it with a friend. Enjoy this wonderful classic. Cheers!
