Ingredients

  • 1½ oz. Aquavit
  • ¼ oz. Yellow Chartreuse
  • ¾ oz. Fresh Lemon Juice
  • ¼ oz. Sorghum Syrup
  • 1 dash Orange Bitters
  • 2 sage leaves, plus 1 for garnish

  • Add all ingredients (excepting 1 small sage leaf) to a mixing glass. Stir to dissolve the syrup. Add ice and stir to chill. Strain into a Nick & Nora glass and garnish with a tiny sage leaf.

Named for the Viking goddess of fertility, this flavor-bomb tastes like you’re eating a Swedish spice cabinet. One of eight cocktails we’ve designed for Sorghum Syrup, this delight will cast a spell on you. Made from a species of tall grass cultivated in the southern United States and bottled like maple syrup, Sorghum Syrup boasts loads of sweet grass, roasted-malt, and raisin notes and will add amazing depth to your cocktails. Enjoy!
