Simple Syrup & Rich Simple Syrup

- Simple Syrup
 - 2 cups Granulated Sugar
 - 2 cups Water
 - In a sauce pan, bring the sugar and water to a boil, stirring occasionally. Once dissolved (about 3 minutes), remove from the heat and allow to cool. Pour into a stoppered bottle and store in the refrigerator for up to 6 weeks. (Yields ~2½ cups.)
 - Rich Simple Syrup
 - 4 cups Granulated Sugar
 - 2 cups Water
 - In a sauce pan, bring the sugar and water to a boil, stirring occasionally. Once dissolved (about 4 minutes), remove from the heat and allow to cool. Pour into a stoppered bottle and store in the refrigerator for up to 6 weeks. (Yields ~4 cups)
 
This ingredient is used in over one-fifth of our cocktails! You can certainly pay for a bottle of this sugar-water at your local liquor or grocery store (as we typically do), or you can save yourself some cash and and make your own.
