Radlersnake

Ingredients

  • 2 oz Tequila
  • 2 oz Grapefruit Radler Beer (like Stiegl)
  • ½ oz Fresh Lime juice
  • ¼ oz Agave Nectar

  • Add the Tequila, Lime Juice, and Agave Nectar, with ice, to a Cocktail Shaker. Shake to chill and strain into a Rocks glass or Champagne flute. Add the Radler, fresh ice, and garnish with a curly grapefruit or orange string.

The Radlersnake is our fun take on the classic Paloma. Here we use a grapefruit radler (in place of fresh grapefruit juice) to add a nice, tart, malty complexity to the drink. A radler is a shandy, that is: half-part beer and half-part some sort of citrus-ade – traditionally lemonade, but here, grapefruitade. It turns the light and fruity Paloma into a delicious, more sophisticated, sipper. Enjoy!
