- 1½ oz. Rye
- ¾ oz. Dry Curaçao
- ¾ oz. Fresh Lemon Juice
- ¼ oz. Sorghum Syrup
- 1 dash Orange Bitters
- Add all ingredients to a mixing glass. Stir to dissolve the syrup. Add ice and stir to chill. Strain into a Nick & Nora glass and garnish with an orange twist.
One of our favorite cocktails featuring Sorghum Syrup, this “improvement” on the classic Sidecar is unworldly. With sweet orange and grass notes and a wonderful lingering finish, this cocktail tastes like the smell of standing with one foot in a dry wheat field while the other stands planted in an orange grove.
