- 4 one inch squares Red Bell Pepper
- 2½ oz Aged Rum
- 1½ oz Grapefruit Juice
- ¾ oz Lemon Juice
- 1 oz Rich Simple Syrup
- 1 dash Rhubarb Bitters
- Dry muddle the red bell pepper in the glass of a Boston Shaker. Add the remaining ingredients, with ice, and shake vigorously. Strain into a Coupe Glass.
- Garnish with Red Bell Pepper slice.
You’ll need to raid the garden in order to make this incredible cocktail – red peppers, grapefruit, lemons, and rhubarb. And combining that with aged rum! Who would have thought this would make such a wonderful drink? Originating in Miami’s Florida Room Bar as The Farmer’s Choice, we rechristened it as we thought the drink resembled the blazing red hills of Sedona at dusk. An unparalleled delight!
