Fig Newton Batida

2015-04-27

Ingredients

  • 1½ oz. Vanilla Vodka
  • ¼ oz. Frangelico
  • ¼ oz. Jägermeister
  • 2 oz. sweetened Condensed Milk
  • ½ oz. shortbread cookies (2 small cookies)
  • 2-3 dried figs
  • 4½ oz. ice (that's 4 1”-square cubes)

  • Add all ingredients to a blender. Blend until smooth and pour into a martini glass. Garnish with a fig newton (or two).

This is not your typical fruity Brazilian Batida (made with Cachaça, fruit, sweetened condensed milk, and ice). Here we’re making our drinkable version of the classic Fig Newton cookie. Using the vanilla vodka (in place of the Cachaça) and rounding out the flavors with Frangelico, Jägermeister, and a few dried figs and short bread cookies, we’ve created a drink that tastes like a Fig Newton – only better! Cold, rich, fig and cookie taste make for one delicious dessert cocktail. If you enjoy this, be certain to check out the other classic and original Batidas we have made as well as our other cookie-inspired cocktails. Cheers!
