Coquette’s Bite

2013-08-11

Ingredients

  • 1 oz Gin
  • 1 oz Aperol
  • 1 oz Fresh Lime Juice
  • 1 dash Rhubarb Bitters

  • Shake gin, aperol, lime juice and rhubarb bitters with ice in a Cocktail Shaker. Strain into a Double Old-Fashioned Glass.

  • Garnish with a Mint Sprig.

A coquette, being a flirtatious girl, explains this drink perfectly! Featuring Aperol (the less-bitter; more citrusy cousin of Campari), this is the perfect drink to have with hot and spicy food, like Thai. Though tweaked a bit, this great cocktail is based on a drink from Pok Pok, in Portland, called the Rhubarb Blush. Enjoy this devilishly delicious and seductive cocktail.
