Calamintha is a hardy herb native to Italy where it is both cultivated and grows wild. It is used to flavor savory meat dishes, sauces, and marinades. Here we use it to flavor the syrup we will use in our Calamintha Daiquiri. The oregano/minty/peppery flavor of the calamintha paired with an aged rum makes for one super-charged daiquiri. Learn how to make the Calamintha Simple Syrup and check out the other Calamintha Cocktails we have made so far. If you have a difficult time getting your hands on some Calamintha, substitute our Oregano-Mint Simple Syrup. Cheers!
