The Ginger Julep puts a delightful Asian twist on the classic Mint Julep. It’s sharp, spicy, ginger taste mellows and melds wonderfully as the ice melts and the richness of the bourbon comes forward. Enjoy this at your Kentucky Derby party and all summer long! Try it along-side the classic Mint Julep, the Original Mint Julep, the Elderflower Julep, and the Rhubarb Julep. Make up some mint simple syrup as it helps you make these cocktails in a breeze! If you want to just make one for yourself and not mix up the syrup, go ahead and stir a tablespoon of sugar in with the bourbon and ginger liqueur, muddle some mint, and sip away!
