Lilac Boulevardier

Ingredients
- 1½ oz. Bourbon
- 1 oz. Campari
- 1 oz. Lilac Syrup*
- Add all ingredients, with ice, to a Mixing Glass. Stir to chill and strain into a Rocks Glass over a fresh ice cube.

This fantastic cocktail is a great sipper with its bitter, sweet, flowery, rich, and complex flavors. We also enjoy it along-side a juicy steak or with greasy foods. What a genius of a creation! Though most of our lilac cocktails are light and delightful, this is one serious contemplative concoction which may well be our best lilac cocktail to date. This version is based on the classic Boulevardier which, in turn, is based on the Negroni, which, itself, evolved from the Americano. Take a trip through cocktail history enjoying all of these classics, then compare it to the Lilac Boulevardier and other takes on these classics like the Frau Blucher, Silly American and outrageous Spumoni Negroni!
